Stacy Peterson's work playfully interprets nostalgic  themes in a fresh, modern way. Her palette ranges from pretty pastels to colors as vivid as one’s imagination.

Shortly after her son was born, Stacy began illustrating part time while working as an art director in a New York City advertising agency. Finding success, she began illustrating full time and has created dozens of children's books and products. Her artwork helped launch the immensely popular American Girl tween craft line.

Stacy currently calls the beautiful Texas Hill Country home, where she lives with her two children. There, along a winding creek dancing with fireflies, she finds inspiration for her collections.

Her clients include Blend Fabrics, American Girl, Scholastic, Penguin Putnam, Darice, Klutz, Publications International, and more.
